Long-term career goals: My goal as an engineer is simple: to make a positive impact on people’s day-to-day lives. With a double major in electrical engineering and computer science, I’ve built a strong foundation to pursue that passion. While I plan to stay on the electrical side, the field is so broad that there’s still a lot I want to explore, which leaves my future wide open. One of my goals after college is to join a rotational program so I can better understand the different departments within electrical engineering and figure out where my true passion lies. I also believe this kind of experience will help me become a more collaborative and well-rounded engineer in the long run. Right now, I’m especially excited about power engineering because it’s a constantly evolving field that directly impacts everyone’s daily life, and I’m motivated by the chance to help improve quality of life through innovative and meaningful work.

Finish the Quote: I chose ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ because of its engineering program and class size. For the engineering program, I was a pretty indecisive high schooler, and ÅÝܽ¶ÌÊÓƵ gave me the space and support to explore all the paths and specializations I was considering, ultimately helping me find where I’d thrive the most! When it came to size, I knew I wanted to be somewhere I could make an impact, both on myself and the school, and Roger Williams felt like the right fit!
